Making the Ordinary, Extraordinary

St. Patrick`s Day Nails

Tomorrow is St. Patrick`s Day! So, in a mixture of nostalgia for February and love for a joyfully pointless holiday, I created this nail design.

Revlon`s 'Minted' nail polish has got to be one of my favorite colors. Don`t forget to use a basecoat first to avoid discoloration!

from the Thrift Ginger`s blog

Trace a heart on a dried out pencil eraser, and use an x-acto knife to cut away the excess.

Put a light layer of purple polish on your stamp, and gingerly pace on nail.

You may find that the stamp doesn`t work perfectly, so you might be required to fill in some rough spots with some hand painting. It will be easier to do, though, thanks to the rough outline you`ll already have!

What is your favorite nail polish color, and what designs and styles do you like to do?
