Out of The Hat

Making the Ordinary, Extraordinary

Colors Of The Wind

The colors that speak

To the unsettled soul,

the words that we say,

the people we know.

One side of the street

hosts all their friends,

if they are the same color

they may safely come in.

You are clearly

not one of them,

and so you can not

come in.

Colors and paints

on the painter`s palette,

only accepted

if you too are pallid.

In honor of Martin Luther King Jr. Day, as he was so instrumental at pushing those ‘tolerant’ but lazy whites to rise up in defense of a good cause. Fire was needed to put out the ice of racism, and the fiery speech and passion in Martin`s speech fulfilled this need. He had a dream, and now we`ve filled it. Happy MLK day, everyone.
